Sweet Pea Cakes Etc.

Just after my baby was born, my aunt Kim made me the most beautiful gift. A diaper cake. It was so pretty that I didn’t want to take the toys and diapers out of it - we held out for as long as possible and displayed it in my baby’s nursery for a few weeks before I finally gave in and unraveled it to use the diapers.

Girl and Boy Diaper Cakes by Sweet Pea Cakes Etc.
I’m sure many of you have heard of these diaper cakes before and thought about what a sweet gift it would be for a baby shower. The only thing…they are usually more than $50 to purchase. In addition to diapers, many of these cakes will include bath products, toys and onesies, which is why you will likely pay more than $50 to purchase one.
Although, if you are interested in creating one yourself as a gift (to save a few dollars), here is a good start: When I looked through different sites to find instructions, I really didn’t have any idea how involved this business is - there are sites that charge you membership fees just to learn how to make a diaper cake. Luckily, I found a free little tutorial at WikiHow. It gives you the basic steps of what to do and also has helpful pictures and tips. You can also view free YouTube videos with instructions.
If you do not have a crafty bone in your body, and would like to purchase one instead (and you are willing to spend more than $50), let me recommend Sweet Pea Cakes Etc. to you. Dawn, the creator and business owner of Sweet Pea Cakes Etc. is so talented and makes a cake for any one or any occasion: boy and girl diaper cakes or cupcakes, towel cakes for weddings, graduations, or bath time, and there are also swaddle blanket cakes and tween towel cakes.
Sweet Pea Diaper Cakes are going for about $60 to $75, while many others are selling them for $80 to $120. You can also purchase towel cakes and cupcakes for about $30 to $40.
