Contest Rules

Here’s the nitty gritty on the Little Window Shoppe’s weekly contests. Entries will be accepted through our comment form or through contest@littlewindowshoppe.com. Entry requirements vary (depending on the contest) and may require that individuals visit the site sponsoring the giveaway, submit a code word, answer a question, or submit a witty or clever response about why you would be the best candidate to win the giveaway.

Additional Entries: 

Some contests will give opportunities to receive additional entries and the requirements for an extra entry will be mentioned during the giveaway. Some may include subscribing to Window Shoppe feeds, newsletters, or linking to a particular contest.

Entry Details:

You must be a legal resident of the United States or Canada to enter. Contests will end at midnight on the day before we are scheduled to draw a winner. You are welcome to enter each and every time there is a new giveaway! Although only one entry per giveaway will be accepted unless there are additional entry opportunities. Thank you for playing fair.

How We Choose: 

On the contest cut-off date, we will add up all of the comments and email entries and assign a number to each one. We will then submit the list to the List Generator at Random.org and the top number will win.

Please be sure to leave your name and email so that we may contact you if you win and can validate your entry.

And there you have it, quite fair, yet not too sophisticated.

Winner Details: 

The winner will be notified by email and will have three days to respond. If we haven’t heard from you after three days, we’ll send you a ”last chance” notice and then we will need to contact the next person on the list. We’ll feel really bad about doing this, we promise, but we want to be fair.

Prize Details: 

Your contest reward will be sent to you either by email, (if it is an online gift certificate code) or by mail (if it is a tangible item) within a week (approximately). Unfortunately, we cannot completely guarantee the mail system and are not responsible for postal problems that may occur. *However, we want you to be happy and if anything does happen to your package in the mail, please notify us so that we may try to replace your prize.
