Meet Emily

{Little Window Shoppe Founder and Editor}

Hi, I am the girl behind Little Window Shoppe. You could say that Window Shopping inspires me. I’m one of those girls who reads every inch of the Pottery Barn magazine the day it comes in the mail just to glean ideas from each and every page.

With My Baby

I especially love to window shop when it’s “shoppetique” style (”Shoppetique” ~ my own little combination of shoppes and boutiques). To me, there’s something so cheery and personal about shoppes that I find absolutely beautiful. I quite enjoy the eclectic feel and seem to find artistic creativity in every nook and cranny.

My husband Scott and I started Little Window Shoppe because I love discovering cute bright ideas for life and I wanted to share my favorite discoveries with you.

I hope that you enjoy window shopping with us and that you find something here that brightens your day.

With My Family:

I am originally from Arizona, but currently live in Utah. I am a mommy to my handsom little toddler and I am married to my wonderful & loving husband Scott. We met while attending Brigham Young University (BYU) and currently we are both finishing Master’s Degrees in Health Education and School Counseling. We love to snowboard in the gorgeous Utah mountains, run in marathons (Ok, so we’ve only run in one so far), and we absolutely love football. (We are BYU Cougar & Michigan Football fans all the way)!

Aside from being very supportive to Little Window Shoppe, Scott stays busy as a teacher, wrestling coach and a Realtor and I work as a Middle School Counselor a few days a week. We really enjoy being a part of education at our house and love to learn.

If you want to know even more about me, you can read my little daily notes on Twitter (emilysday) or Facebook, glance at my “Emily Moments“ (which are LWS blog updates about my life) and you can read 20 fun facts about me at my 20 Things About Emily post.
