Ready for the Beach

February 29, 2008 by Michelle P. · Leave a Comment

It could be because I am planning a trip to southern California in a few weeks, or because I am just ready for some warm weather, but anything I see with “beach” in the title seems to get my attention real quick.  This beach tote from Old Navy definitely caught my eye, and once I saw the price of only $10, I knew I had found a winner.  There are 5 tempting prints to choose from.   My favorite is the Indian Clay, or maybe the O’Donnell Green, or the Giraffe Print…. Pick one for yourself at OldNavy.com.

The Best Lip Gloss Ever

February 27, 2008 by Emily · 1 Comment

I love Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer and Lip Gloss. It has been my favorite Lip Gloss for about 5 years now! I’ll admit, I have tried a few others from time to time, but I keep coming back to Burt’s Bees. This collection can help you if you are trying to heal and moisturize your lips, or if you just want a hint of color.

The shimmer and gloss are made from 100% natural ingredients - with Vitamin E, Coconut, and Sunflower oils. I love this because I know that they take great care in making this product for me and for the environment. They are all about the natural shades too, so once you find your perfect color, you won’t turn back, I promise! You can find them online at Burt’s Bees, or I have seen Target carry their product line. Your lips will thank you!

Lip Gloss Jar price: $2.64  ~  Lip Shimmer price: $5  ~  Lip Balm price: $3

~Free Offer Alert: If you happen to fall in love with Burt’s Bees products and purchase $25 worth of their items, they will send you a free lip balm.

The Grouchy Ladybug Game

February 23, 2008 by Emily · 2 Comments

Grouchy Ladybug Game price: $15.29

I was perusing through Target the other day when this game by Eric Carle popped out. It was inspired by his book and is a great game for kids ages 3-7. Children play by moving their little ladybugs throughout the game, while they practice their manners, meet other animals, and gather together a nice meal.

Here’s the scoop: You start out with a very grouchy (and hungry) ladybug, can you blame her? But luckily as you move throughout the game, you can find tasty food to feed her. To see if she becomes a happier lady bug, you must play this game.
